CEO Compass (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an invite-only leadership and team operations platform operated by KN Advisors and Karncy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
1. Account and contact information
When an admin invites a user, we collect the name, work email, and optional profile details (designation, department, manager, phone, date of birth, date of joining, skills, and interests). This information is used to authenticate the user, build the organization hierarchy, assign tasks, and enable collaboration.
2. Push notifications
With permission, we register a device push token to deliver real-time notifications for task assignments, QA updates, approvals, chat messages, and mentions. Tokens are stored securely and are only used to route notifications to the intended device.
3. Photos, videos, files, and documents
Users may optionally upload profile photos, task attachments, Data Room files, and workflow documents. These files are stored in encrypted cloud storage and are only accessible to users with the appropriate role or share permissions. External share links can be configured as view-only without download.
4. Usage and attendance data
We record sign-in/sign-out times, daily work reports, and task hours logged by employees. This data is used for attendance tracking, resource utilization, and operational reporting within the organization.
5. Data security
Access is controlled by Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based permissions. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest by our cloud provider. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
